Branding

Flex is an app created by Do Something Different.

As a part of my coursework, students were asked by a client to create a logo for a new app being developed that involved flexing one's mind.

The Process

The purpose of the Flex app is to help people procrastinate less and become their best self. It's a way to flex your brain and be as productive as possible.

Since Do Something Different and Flex are powered by Google, I decided to use these colours and play on the flexibility of type in a subtle way for this logo design. The shapes are used to represent basic functions and chores, and how the letters formed can be the flex for working around it in a way that works best for oneself.
